Audience members storm Major stage during G2 vs. MOUZ match
The last quarter-final match has ground to a halt due to a rowdy group of audience members.

Midway through the PGL Major Copenhagen quarter-final match between MOUZ and G2, a group of audience members took to the stage, putting a stop to the ongoing match. Security guards lining the front of the Royal Arena's stage followed quickly thereafter, tackling and removing the audience members from the stage.
A small group of audience members stormed the stage during half-time of the second map of the series in a stunt that was seemingly organized by CSGOEmpire to draw negative attention to CSGORoll, a rival gambling site.
The audience members who stormed the stage were quickly escorted away by security workers. According to PGL CEO Silviu Stroie, the police were called to the scene, and arrests were made.
"There was a disruption attempt, we stopped the match to make sure everyone was safe," Stroie told HLTV. "Police took out the people that tried to disrupt the event."
Rumors about a potential stage invasion began to circulate shortly before the start of the match, and security was reinforced around the stage. On his stream, CSGOEmpire owner 'Monarch' was seen offering "thousands" to audience members willing to rush the stage and disrupt the match.
In a blog post published shortly before the stunt, 'Monarch' described CSGORoll as a "scam casino" and urged the G2 organization to cut ties with the gambling site.
CSGORoll made headlines in May 2023 when it partnered with G2, who announced the deal via a promotional video featuring Ilya "m0NESY" Osipov in a stylized casino setting. The deal sparked immediate criticism as the Russian AWPer had just turned 18 and CSGORoll was accused of offering unregulated gambling of CS:GO skins.
G2 quietly removed CSGORoll from their list of partners a few months later, with no explanation provided. But on its website, the gambling site still claims that it is partnered with the esports organization.
The match resumed after a 30-minute delay, with G2 winning the series 2-0 to lock down a spot in the semi-finals of the Major.
