M80, RED Canids, ATOX qualify for ESL Pro League Season 20

Three teams have secured spots in Malta through the regional ESL Challenger Leagues.

M80 have secured their spot at ESL Pro League S20

M80, RED Canids, and ATOX have locked in their ESL Pro League Season 20 berths after securing top-two finishes in their respective region's ESL Challenger Leagues.

M80 got their spot after defeating Peter "⁠stanislaw⁠" Jarguz's Wildcard in a two-map series. The Elias "⁠s1n⁠" Stein-led squad had a 22-6 record in the Group Stage and breezed past Nouns and Wildcard in the playoffs to solidify their stake as one of the best teams in the region.

The other North American ESL Pro League S20 spot will go to one of Wildcard, Nouns, and Party Astronauts.

In South America, it was Marcelo "⁠coldzera⁠" David's RED Canids who secured the first available spot after beating Imperial in the upper bracket final. The Brazilians had previously beat 9z to set up the clash against João "⁠felps⁠" Vasconcellos and company.

Imperial are not out of the running yet, as they will fight against the winner of 9z vs Sharks for the remaining spot.

Meanwhile, ATOX secured the first spot up for grabs in Asia after defeating Lynn Vision. The Mongolian side had to fight through -72c and GR before besting the Chinese side in a close three-map affair.

The second Asian EPL spot will go to the winner of TYLOO vs. Lynn Vision, who are set to meet on Saturday at 14:00 .
