donk breaks CS2 kill record against Wildcard

The Russian phenom has grabbed an early piece of CS2 history for himself by cracking the MR12 regulation kill record.

donk now holds two spots in the top 10 for single-map regulation kill counts

Danil "⁠donk⁠" Kryshkovets continues to make records early in his CS career by earning CS2's kill record, racking up 38 regulation kills on Ancient against Wildcard.

Spirit were in danger of an early upset map loss at ESL Pro League as Wildcard put up a valiant fight, but donk's 155 ADR and 11 multi-kills secured a 13-11 win for his side. The 17-year-old continued to dominate on the second map of Nuke, posting 37 kills (with OT) to guide his team to a hard-fought 2-0 win.

Clip: donk bags a 4K including two AWP kills

With his performance donk secured the top spot in CS2's one-map kill count leader board, adding to his 35-kill performance from 2023 that also features among the top 10:

donk and Twistzz deserve special credit for being the only two players to have sealed a spot on the leader board with performances on LAN. Lake and Cjoffo meanwhile deserve commiserations as both posted their stellar performances in maps their team eventually lost.

Stat pads low tier events even though at the major he dropped 80kills vs faze in his first major playoff. You can say they lost but it had nothing to with him, if his team stepped up for one or two more rounds, and Broky gets one less clutch round, spirit are major champions right now.

Karrigan pick threw game to navi (he is over confident in map picking "want to master all maps, even in major final LOL), FaZe deserved it. Just look at s1mple and ZywOo getting 1st/2nd POTY places without majors back in the day (2018+) Donk already put 2 titles in his pockets this year (againts great teams) and some MVPs. He has a very real chance of placing 1st as POTY even without a major title if he keeps it up and improve results. IF. There's a lot to happen yet, but we can't deny his sensation till now.

zywoo dies way less than donk because of their roles, which benefits his rating dramatically.

I'm pretty sure getting an useless kill on an already won round is more benefit than surviving with no kills at all, it's clearly seen on both players rating to kd diff and you can also look up the rating 2.0 formula. 30% of donk's kills are unecessary because he's just running around hunting whenever round is guaranteed, zywoo doesn't do this because he is obviously with an awp in hands and can't afford losing 4750$ for free

In the whole series against wildcard donk did 3 kills in pistol rounds, 47 kills against full buys, 14 frags against eco rounds, 4 kills with a deagle vs rifles (3k on ancient) and 7 kills against force buys. + ace and 4k against full buys. donk in this form = top 1
