Short: vanity and MarKE return on FLUFFY AIMERS

Former Chaos in-game leader Anthony "⁠vanity⁠" Malaspina and former Nouns rifler Edgar "⁠MarKE⁠" Maldonado have returned to active play, joining FLUFFY AIMERS on a trial basis according to Dust2.us.

While MarKE's last-recorded match was only a little over three months ago, vanity returns after a substantially longer period, having done a lengthy stint in Valorant. The former Chaos captain's next match will be his first in Counter-Strike in over four years.

Short: Fluxo set to sign piriajr

Fluxo are set to complete their lineup with the signing of Guilherme "⁠piriajr⁠" Barbosa, according to a report by Dust2.com.br.

piriajr had previously plied his trade with Fluxo for three months, but returned to Bounty Hunters's bench after Fluxo failed to exercise their purchase of the player in a timely manner. During his first stint with Fluxo, piriajr averaged a 1.19 rating and helped the Brazilian side secure wins in a handful of domestic competitions.

Maikil "⁠Golden⁠" Selim will remain as the head coach of SAW through 2025, the Portuguese organization has announced, extending the skipper's tenure after he was initially signed to stay on "until the end of the season" in October.

The Swede arrived on the team as a replacement for Danny "⁠BERRY⁠" Krüger and helped them win their first international LAN trophy at ESL Challenger Katowice. He couldn't stand behind SAW at the Shanghai Major Europe RMR due to roster restrictions, however, and there the team went from a 2-1 record to 2-3 after losses to Natus Vincere and BetBoom.

You are in a bubble of highly engaged players, 99% of people are just casual players who can not be bothered to download a third party client and anticheat just to play the game in the same way they can play the game in Premier.

yeah that's correct However, how come that number of players increases, meanwhile the "true nature" of high skill ceiling game style of hardcore players decreases? This just logically doesn't make sense. Arguement saying that people don't want to be good is just stupid. With greater supply the quality must go up, yet it doesn't.

In theory yes, but Faceit does not exist in a vacuum as an extention of the matchmaking system. People can flip flop back and forth depending on different factors. For example, I have a friend that tries out Premier every few weeks and sees if he encounters cheaters. If not, he will continue to play Premier. If he does, then he plays Faceit. So Faceit traction is at least to some extent connected to how good Premier's anticheat performs at the moment. Also Faceit said that they have hit a record high of players in early December so that checks out with cs2 player numbers increasing x.com/FACEIT/status/1864699042040594854

This is from HLTVs article "As a result of the expansion to 32 teams, the plan is for an extra Swiss stage to be added to the Majors in addition to the existing Opening and Elimination stages." It could be wrong I guess but im not even sure how you could add 8 teams to the opening stage

Last time nexa IGL'd he had fiku, fashr, regali and k1to in his roster, ofc his rating gonna fall when he plays with 4 guys that can't execute the tactics he has and can't aim neither (respect to regali for being partially functionable tho). When he had Flamez and Degster his team was tier 1, and that benching thing was a decision made by rest of the team cause they "weren't willing to put up as much effort as nexa wnted them to in process of upgrading their cieling"
