MOUZ and Liquid wins wrap up day two of EPL Stage 2
MOUZ are now one game away from playoffs, while Liquid avoid risking elimination.

Day two of ESL Pro League Season 22 Stage 2 has drawn to a close, with MOUZ besting Falcons in a PGL Cluj-Napoca grand final rematch while Liquid took down FURIA to stave off an 0-2 record.
Meanwhile, Vitality and Spirit scored one-sided wins over their respective opponents of 3DMAX and SAW to round out the day.

MOUZ keep ahead of Falcons
After faltering to Damjan "kyxsan" Stoilkovski's men in their first meeting of 2025 at PGL Cluj-Napoca, MOUZ managed to even the record with a 3-1 win over Falcons in the grand final of the Romanian event. It only took until the second round of EPL Season 21 before the two international sides met again, with MOUZ coming out on top once more.
A crucial component in MOUZ's success over Falcons in this bout came from their win on Train, their second official on the map after debuting it in their series against FURIA yesterday. "It's a good map for us," shared Dorian "xertioN" Berman in an interview with Anastasija "Heccu" Tolmačeva after the match. "I'm just looking forward for people to keep testing us.
"It's a hard map to play because most of us have not played it professionally. [syrcone] has a really good understanding, and of course, we have Xyp9x and I think he was really good on this map. We got a lot of input from them."
Liquid snag valuable VRS points
After an up-and-down start to their 2025 season and a decision to not attend PGL Cluj-Napoca, Russel "Twistzz" Van Dulken's men on Liquid will be looking for VRS points wherever they can find them as the invitation date for the BLAST.tv Austin Major, April 7, is now just a month away.

A win over the comparably ranked side of FURIA will be a boon in Liquid's efforts to make up ground in the VRS, but more wins in EPL will almost certainly be necessary if the team wants an invitation to one of the Major's later stages.

"Of course, the VRS is really important for the Major," Guy "NertZ" Iluz shared in a post-match interview. "We don't know what's going to happen, a lot of questions. For the team, we have a lot of tournaments ahead, and we just need to focus one at a time."
Vitality and Spirit avoid upsets with ease
While Natus Vincere have been languishing with an opening loss to SAW and a tough win over TYLOO, Spirit and Vitality managed to take down their underdog opponents on the second day of Stage 2 with ease.
Vitality took down French side 3DMAX in a quick 2-0 filled with taunting throughout, while Spirit collected their third-straight win on Train as they pushed past SAW 2-0.
