Media: Imperial move decenty to the bench

The Brazilian team is pulling the trigger on another move after a disappointing season.

Imperial have decided to place Lucas "⁠decenty⁠" Bacelar on the bench, according to a report from Dust2 Brasil. This is the second roster change made by the Brazilian team since the end of the season, following the benching of Richard "⁠chayJESUS⁠" Seidy.

A former FURIA Academy player, decenty joined Imperial in October 2023 as a replacement for Ricardo "⁠boltz⁠" Prass. He has averaged a 1.12 rating while with the team, helping it qualify for the Majors in Copenhagen, Shanghai and Austin.

chayJESUS sent to Imperial's bench: "I leave with a feeling of individual dissatisfaction"

Imperial were eliminated from the Austin Major in Stage 1 following defeats to B8, Nemiga and Legacy. It was only the team's third LAN appearance since the start of the year, after a last-place finish at BLAST Open Lisbon and a title-winning run at FiReLEAGUE Buenos Aires.

According to another report from Dust2 Brasil, Imperial have been in talks with FURIA with a view to signing Marcelo "⁠chelo⁠" Cespedes, who has been on the bench since April. The 27-year-old previously played for Imperial between August 2022 and July 2023.

I gave up on imperial a after the HEN1 kick. Try is shit, noway 0 impact and only decenty could step up on big games. I hope decenty moves to pain or furia in the future and imperial just never qualify for a big tournament again

I think he asked out of the team, in their last tournament he was very upset with the team performance and some of his team mates attitudes, clearly unhappy with the team, decenty is the best player that Imperial have.
