Inner Circle unveil Polish lineup featuring former 9INE core

Inner Circle will now field four players who brought 9INE into the top 20 of HLTV's world ranking over the course of 2023.

Inner Circle have unveiled their new lineup, bringing together former 9INE members Olek "⁠hades⁠" Miskiewicz, Kamil "⁠KEi⁠" Pietkun, Kacper "⁠Kylar⁠" Walukiewicz and Wiktor "⁠mynio⁠" Kruk to play under former 9INE coach Piotr "⁠nawrot⁠" Nawrocki.

The announcement completes Inner Circle's roster after they opted for a near-total rebuild this offseason following a disappointing first half of the year, ditching the likes of Tomáš "⁠oskar⁠" Šťastný and Martin "⁠STYKO⁠" Styk in favour of their new all-Polish lineup.

STYKO latest to be sent to Inner Circle bench: "I want to continue in the IGL role"

Inner Circle's four new members, alongside coach nawrot, know what it takes to grind their way through the online scene having previously played together on 9INE over 2023, when they rose from hovering around the top 50 to a peak of No. 17 in HLTV's rankings.

The former 9INE quartet not only found success in Europe's online scene over that year but also qualified for a number of prestigious LAN events like IEM Cologne and BLAST.tv Paris Major, earning the latter by beating G2 and Vitality at the RMR.

hades, Kylar and Krzysztof "⁠Goofy⁠" Górski would earn a move to ENCE to play alongside Lukas "⁠gla1ve⁠" Rossander thanks to their exploits, but after kicking off 2024 with a surprise run to top six at IEM Katowice, success was hard to come by and the players gradually went their separate ways.

hades: "I just want to show that I'm good enough for tier one"

hades is the only of the four players to have featured at the top level of CS in recent times, having stood in for G2 for the final three events of the most-recent season, including BLAST.tv Austin Major.

I like the moves done here, but IC had a good team to begin with, but it had no VRS ranking. Now they bring in another really good team, with again, no VRS ranking. Itll take them until December to even be where they want to be unkess they get lucky and win a local LAN or go to one like Fragadelphia. Either way, ex-top 20 team is nice and all, but no VRS rank is going to kill this roster like it killed the last one.
