The South American qualifier champions have forfeited their spot.
Fluxo will take the Americas qualifier spot at the event in China
Perfect World has announced that "due to unforeseen circumstances, the Americas Qualifier champion team Imperial has withdrawn from the tournament."
To take the place of the Americas qualifier winners, the runners-up, Fluxo, will play at the $1,000,000 event in Shanghai, which will take place on October 14-19.

The aforementioned unforseen circumstances are likely to be Imperial's recent qualification for the Thunderpick World Championship, which will overlap with the event in China, as it runs on October 15-19 in Malta.
