Liquid, NRG dominate en route to NA RMR closed qualifier

Liquid, NRG, Vagrants, and my life be like have advanced from the first PGL Major Copenhagen Americas RMR North America open qualifier and earned spots in the closed stage.

Favorites prevail in day one of PGL Major Copenhagen Americas RMR open qualifiers

All eyes were on Liquid as they made their debut with their newly-formed roster, with the team needing to start their Major campaign from the open stages after changing a majority of their lineup during the tournament break.

Casper "⁠cadiaN⁠" Møller's men had no trouble breezing past the opposition, though, with their first five opponents garnering a combined eight rounds between themselves and Liquid being so dominant that they had a little fun in the process.

They faced the stiffest competition out of all the teams in the best-of-three qualifying round, getting pit against LOS, but handled the challenge with ease with 13-6 and 13-8 wins on Anubis and Ancient to secure a berth to the closed stage.

NRG were also dominant in their bracket run, only losing ten rounds in the four matches that preceded their qualification game. Jadan "⁠HexT⁠" Postma and Justin "⁠FaNg⁠" Coakley then led the way in NRG's series win over MagicLight, earning wins on Vertigo and Inferno to advance.

The other two spots were earned by my life be like and Vagrants, with the latter team featuring former EG Blueprint members Anthony "⁠CLASIA⁠" Kearney and Josh "⁠PwnAlone⁠" Pigue, and the former currently competing in ESEA Advanced.

Several notable ESL Challenger League teams fell before the qualifying round, but will have a second chance to secure berths to the closed stage through the second open qualifier that will kick off on Wednesday.

The flag is that of North America which includes more countries than just the US and Canada.

The North America continent flag. They use this for World flag: hltv.org/img/static/flags/30x20/WORLD.gi.. This for South America flag: hltv.org/img/static/flags/30x20/SAM.gif This for Asia flag: hltv.org/img/static/flags/30x20/ASIA.gif So they should do the same for NA... 20+ countries and the flag is Canada and US lel

Yes, but whatever flag pack they are using has this for North America: hltv.org/img/static/flags/30x20/NAM.gif Not saying it can't be fixed, but it's not as easy as switching out a link.
