The French side made their way through the EPL Europe Closed Qualifier to claim their spot in the flagship league.

3DMAX are headed back to ESL Pro League

The ESL Pro League Season 20 Europe Closed Qualifier has drawn to a close, seeing 3DMAX emerge victorious over SINNERS in the final match of the qualifier to secure their place in Malta in September.

3DMAX had initially missed out on securing a place in Pro League through their participation in ESL Challenger League, bowing out of the domestic league in 5-6th place after suffering losses to eventual finalists KOI and Sangal.

Bryan "⁠Maka⁠" Canda's troops were given another opportunity to secure Pro League qualification through the Europe Closed Qualifier, alongside a slew of other ECL playoff sides that missed the mark, such as SINNERS, SAW, and Aurora.

Topping the BO1 round-robin group stage with a 5-2 record, 3DMAX bested Hungarian squad BUHAWI with ease in their semi-final match, and squared off against SINNERS in the finals.

Against Tomáš "⁠oskar⁠" Šťastný and co., Maka put up an astounding performance, notching a 1.62 series rating to secure a straightforward 2-0 victory for 3DMAX, securing their place in ESL Pro League Season 20.

mongolz chose to gamble on ESL World Rankings and Jönköping. And since EF are now on player break and Mongolz still have one more event that's also winnable, Mongolz getting one of the four ESL World Rankings spots is basically guaranteed.

idk if its even a gamble I think they would just rather play lans especially ones with such massive price pools than have to fly back and forth to play online qualifiers if it isnt necessary

mongolz will receive an invite I believe but somehow they didn’t get to participate in asian qualifiers

they withdrew to participate in Yalla, which I assume was also strategically coordinated which they chose to gamble on swiping one of the four ESL World Rankings spots, and basically succeeded.
