poiii is the new record-holder for regulation kills in CS2 with 39 frags

Barely a week after Danil "⁠donk⁠" Kryshkovets set a new regulation kill record in Counter-Strike 2 against Wildcard with 38 frags in 24 rounds, 17-year-old Alex "⁠poiii⁠" Nyholm Sundgren has broken it online by getting 39 kills in EYEBALLERS' 13-11 win on Anubis against Zero Tenacity in CCT Season 2 Europe Series 11.

donk breaks CS2 kill record against Wildcard

poiii was hailed by Jesper "⁠JW⁠" Wecksell as "Sweden's next superstar" upon signing to EYEBALLERS in July, but has yet to live up to that high praise with a meager 1.01 average rating over 98 maps.

Some of his potential was on clear display during this Anubis map, however, where poiii smashed Zero Tenacity with a 23-7 K-D on the CT side — still only good for a 5-7 score due to the rest of his team struggling.

EYEBALLERS sign 17-year-old poiii: "He's Sweden's next superstar"

The Swede was on track to blow the 38-kill record out of the water as he bagged 12 kills in the first six rounds of the second half, hitting a 35-9 K-D at 10-8, but slowed down amidst a comeback effort from Zero Tenacity and only broke past donk's record in round 24 to end the game 39-15.

Match-fixing is about fixing a match result before it even started, whether it’s a win or a loss. If a loss is preferable according to odds, they throw, if otherwise - they either use a radar hack (like many players in t3 caught doing before) or get exclusive live streaming of a game map from their guy from a bookie if they have one through the organization’s connections. It isn’t necessarily throwing.

Ur implying that zero tenacity threw anubis, as wildcard don’t throw games (donks record) meanwhile zero tenacity lost anubis (poi record). If the loss was favourable, they would have lost the game. If the win was favourable, they would have won the map (99% winrate on anb over 5 trillion games) but they still lost the map. My point is that Z10 didnt throw the map.

I can’t even comprehend what you’re trying to say. If anything, their high winrate on Anubis only makes throwing more profitable, because the odds of them losing it are bigger hence they could bet against themselves, lose on purpose and secure the bag. Z10 are known throwers, any result against them whether it’s a win or a loss isn’t representative.

13-11 while a guy drops 39. I'm with you though, results against z10 should be null and void because you never know what they are up to. But I have a hard time believing they fixed that map, they probably just bet on win and played normal on anubis, it went to 3 maps and they just went hard last map. this business only works if you're also good without a little help, so it wouldn't surprise me if they played normal on map2.

Yeah i think these records shouldn't even exist, like, it should be KPR records and only in top 20 competitions. For these kill records to happen lots of unlikely things have to simultaneously happen, like: facing a terrible team, being an insane player and being on a good day, but your team is in a very bad day to the point you can average close to 2kpr and match still get to 20+ rounds, farm all the ecos (it's hard to run into most of players on ecos in a single match) and etc.
