The invite list has only a few differences compared to the tentative one that was revealed in mid-December.

PGL have released the list of invited teams for the PGL CS2 Major Copenhagen closed qualifiers, with the list closely matching the tentative one that was revealed in mid-December.

Initial invites for PGL CS2 Major Copenhagen closed qualifiers revealed

A total of 44 teams have received direct invites to their regional closed qualifiers thanks to their place in the Valve Regional Standings. They will be joined by a raft of teams from open qualifiers, and those who succeed in the online closed qualifiers will proceed to the RMRs on LAN.

The changes from the initial invite list include Evil Geniuses dropping out as predicted in North America to be replaced by Wildcard, 1win's Europe spot going along with their core to AMKAL, and Looking For Org dropping out in Oceania.

Nah I'd say as a cis team they should have a chance or even be better than middle eastern teams... maybe not better than ZA teams, but that depends on if they travel to get playable ping or not

They should have been 3rd. LFO 4th although they have disbanded, but sunday school would have been next according to the last update. Vantage were 6th on the list, but are 3rd invite on this, and nobody seems to have a clue who Bad News Kangaroos are from what I can see. EDIT On the PGL site it lists BNK before Vantage, so it is likely one of either Vertex or sunday school. I'm leaning towards the latter, given all of the Vertex players still have the org in their twitter bios and there has been nothing about them being released.

I’m 99% sure it’s Vertex, I remember a little while back I was watching an Aussie caster streaming (I can’t remember EXACTLY who it was) but they were saying something along the lines of the funding for the team was being dropped soon if some kind of goal wasn’t met. It would also make sense that Malta retired if the funding was being stopped too.
