MOUZ are on the hunt for a firepower upgrade as Brollan takes on the IGL role for the team.

Spinx may have found his new home for the 2025 season

MOUZ have reached a verbal agreement regarding the signing of benched Vitality rifler Lotan "⁠Spinx⁠" Giladi, according to a report by Sheep Esports. This report comes just hours after MOUZ's shocking decision to bench in-game leader Kamil "⁠siuhy⁠" Szkaradek after just one series into the new season.

Despite a hectic off-season that saw changes in the camps of top sides such as G2, FaZe, and Vitality, it seemed that MOUZ would not be making adjustments to their young quintet heading into 2025.

Those plans were disrupted following a tough opening loss to BetBoom in BLAST Bounty Season 1 to start the new year, culminating in the benching of captain siuhy, with Ludvig "⁠Brollan⁠" Brolin set to take on the mantle of calling for the team. MOUZ pointed to "differing visions for the team's direction" as a rationale in the organization's announcement of the move.

Spinx has been on Vitality's bench since January 9, when the Israeli rifler was set aside to make space for the addition of Robin "⁠ropz⁠" Kool to the European side's lineup. MOUZ's next appearance following IEM Katowice, and the first Spinx would have the opportunity to compete in, is slated to be at ESL Pro League Season 21, set to begin March 7.

That’s I Know he never be igl in T2 team cause he was playing for his first T2 team with hampus in 2018. So if he was igl on previous team it was T4 team at best and 8 years ago. That’s why is not looking safety. But I agree with you with one point is not cause lot of players fail to change for igl sometimes it’s work like apex who is igl since vitality after ALEX kick.

You are so fucking clueless if u think igling is about prepating setups and just calling executes - if it looked like that then literally anyone could be igling but they are not. Reading the game, setups, executing the correct site and avoiding potential stack (on eco/force/disadvantage) - have you ever heard about that? You haven't watched a lot of games, did you? Cuz none of the teams plays from the book all the time. You go by execute from your stratbook and something goes wrong (like, you got stopped, someone gets killed too early, lurk got spotted and enemy know where are you going) what then? It's usually igl's responsibility to make a different call and there can be plenty of it.

No, it's igl's job cuz we are talking about making calls - ofc sometimes someone else comes with the plan and they do it but usually it's igl's responsibility. Where did I say that? Of course not but when it comes to making a call it's USUALLY a siuhy (or any other IGL). That's why u have that kind of a role in the team, that's why in most of the teams IGLs have worst rating cuz they focus on leading the team, analyzing etc. instead of focusing on fragging. Do you even realize what are we talking about? Or you just didn't take ur meds? We are not talking about telling players when they should throw smoke, throw flash, peek etc. We are talking about giving a call for whole round basing on analyze of enemy team, current situation (either they have full, have awp, have eco/force and they might stack some position) and pure read of game/enemy team.

Spirit is the one team that might not benefit as much as others from signing m0NESY. They already got a top awper in Sh1ro, which is I believe less versatile than Zywoo. If true, he would have to leave the team. There is also a question mark about the style of m0NESY that differ from sh1ro's. Would the team benefit from this tactical change ? Spirit also won the major. If they continue to win, making a change might be an harder decision.. That being say, sure, m0NESY is a top player and he speaks russian... If brollan is going to igl than he can’t be lurking, you can’t call for the rest of the team whilst being separated from the team because it’s harder to understand the info that way, so if brollan pushed to becoming an igl than that means he has to move to play as a pack. And In contrary to liquid, xertion is one of the best entries in the world so it’s not really similar, it’s just that brollan will either be a cannon fodder or he’s gonna need to improve massively in trading. divisive? it shouldn't be divisive. it should be universally condemned as the worst roster move in years, probably since ENCE -aleksib +sunny we were right about that one and we're right about this one. there is no division. mouz will waste 6 months on this dead joke roster with no IGL, then grovel and do -brollan +IGL, but the replacement won't be as good as siuhy was. it's just bad from every possible angle. nobody benefits from this. Well divisive is a polite way of putting it. I think at this point I am sure this is kind of a -styko +snax situation Mouz did some years back. Of all the possible changes they actually needed to do to be competitive in top, they made the most unanticipated and downright worst one.
